Upon becoming a new entry Cadet, the cadet will be issued with a uniform. The cadet is expected to wear this uniform on parade nights and at all other cadet functions unless notified to the contrary. We do have fun nights at the corps when cadets are able to wear civilian clothing.
Cadets are expected to maintain their uniform and take pride in its appearance. Inspections do occur throughout the year. If a cadet is found to be mistreating the uniform or missing parts upon return of the uniform at the end of the year, there will be a charge incurred.
If a cadet needs a new uniform part due to change in sizes, the cadet is to fill out a request form available from the cadet hall and provide this to their Divisional Petty Officer.
The drill manual will teach you all of the commands needed in order to perform the drill routine efficiently. Cadets do learn this on the regular parade nights but it is useful for them to brush up on their learning by reviewing the attached manual.
